Especially with the way the American culture is
turning, I can often feel overwhelmed by just how much bad is in the world.
But Elisabeth Elliot’s quote is such a great
reminder that God is greater than this world. His love reaches far beyond the influences
of evil.
“These things I have spoken to you,
so that in Me you may have peace. In the world you have tribulation, but take
courage; I have overcome the world.”
